Personal Data Processing Conditions ("Conditions")


Terms used:
Data Controller: CAMPING ROŽNOV spol. s r. o., Radhošťská 940, Rožnov pod Radhoštěm 756 61 (hereinafter "Camping Rožnov")
Customer: A natural or legal person using the services of the operator
Regulation: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation

General Provisions

  1. The subject of these Conditions is to ensure the processing of customers' personal data obtained in the course of Camping Rožnov's business activities, and to establish the obligation to maintain confidentiality over the information obtained, to the extent and under the conditions set out in these Conditions.
  2. Camping Rožnov undertakes, in accordance with these Conditions, to process customers' personal data. These Conditions are drawn up within the scope of the rights and obligations arising from the processing of personal data pursuant to the preceding paragraph under applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation ("Regulation").

Rights, Obligations and Confidentiality

  1. Camping Rožnov undertakes to adopt such technical, personnel and other necessary measures to prevent unauthorised or accidental access to personal data, their alteration, destruction or loss, unauthorised transfers, other unauthorised processing, as well as any other misuse of personal data.
  2. In connection with providing accommodation services, Camping Rožnov is obliged to process the personal data of guests. This data is handled primarily by:
    1. Camping Rožnov reception staff
    2. Camping Rožnov manager
    3. Accountant
  1. The above-mentioned users have been informed about the sensitivity of personal data. They handle the personal data of guests exclusively within the scope of services provided by Camping Rožnov. Neither Camping Rožnov nor its employees pass on guests' personal data to third parties. Other processors of guests' personal data are:
    1. Hotel system Previo
    2. Accounting firm
The conditions for processing and handling guests' personal data are regulated by a data processing agreement between Camping Rožnov and the respective processor.

DPO – Data Protection Officer

  1. The Data Protection Officer of Camping Rožnov is Zbyněk Svačina. Camping Rožnov has provided the DPO with the training necessary for carrying out the DPO function in accordance with the Regulation.

Customer Information

  1. Camping Rožnov has a statutory obligation to retain certain personal data about its guests, namely name, surname, date of birth, address and length of stay, document number and type, visa if applicable, purpose of stay. This obligation is governed by the Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic (326/1999) and the Act on Local Charges (565/1990). Under these legal regulations, Camping Rožnov is obliged to retain customers' personal data for a period of 6 years.
  2. The customer may at any time request from the hotel an overview of their personal data. This information is stored in (i) the guest card in the hotel system, (ii) the house register and (iii) the registration book, which are kept in printed form in a locked room. In the event of a request for deletion of personal data, Camping Rožnov will delete the guest card and destroy the house register and registration book. However, Camping Rožnov must comply with the above-mentioned legislation. The listed personal data may only be deleted after the statutory retention period has expired.

Technical and Organisational Security of Personal Data Protection

  1. Camping Rožnov undertakes to technically and organisationally secure the protection of processed personal data so as to prevent unauthorised or accidental access to the data, their alteration, destruction or loss, unauthorised transfers, other unauthorised processing, as well as any other misuse, and to ensure that all obligations of the personal data controller arising from legal regulations, in particular the Regulation, are continuously met on a personnel and organisational level throughout the period of data processing.
  2. Camping Rožnov undertakes to secure data processing in particular by the following means:
    1. personal data will only be accessible to authorised persons of Camping Rožnov, who will have conditions and scope of data processing set by Camping Rožnov, and each such person will access personal data under their unique identifier;
    2. personal data will be processed in the premises of Camping Rožnov, to which only authorised persons or its suppliers (subcontractors) bound by the same obligations will have access;
    3. Camping Rožnov will prevent unauthorised reading, creation, copying, transmission, modification or deletion of records containing personal data;
    4. measures will be taken to enable the determination and verification of to whom personal data were transmitted and by whom they were processed, altered or deleted.
  3. Camping Rožnov undertakes, through its own internal regulations and any special contractual arrangements, to ensure that its employees and other persons who will process personal data do so only under the conditions and to the extent set by Camping Rožnov and in accordance with the instructions of Camping Rožnov. In particular, it will itself (and will bindingly impose on the aforementioned persons) maintain confidentiality regarding personal data and security measures whose disclosure would jeopardise the security of personal data, even after the termination of employment or relevant work at Camping Rožnov.
Camera System
  1. Camping Rožnov uses a camera system for the prevention of protection of its customers and their and its own property. Camping Rožnov declares that it does not work with the recordings in any way, does not provide them to third parties or entities.
